Member magazine Kansanmusiikki
Suomen Kansanmusiikkiliitto publishes the only Finnish-language magazine in the field, Kansanmusiikki, together with the Folk Music Institute. The magazine comes out four times a year, and every issue includes the Pelimanni supplement with sheet music and news from the regions. The magazine is included in the membership fee.
Member offers of the month
Every issue of Kansanmusiikki lists the member offers of the month: 20% off the price of each featured member product. Note: this applies to members only, not to magazine subscribers.
Discounts on course fees
You get a discount on the course fee when you take part in Suomen Kansanmusiikkiliitto's Orivesi folk music courses on 27–30 Dec or the young people's summer KAMU camp. Member associations also give members discounts on their own courses.

Subscribing to Kansanmusiikki without membership
You can also just subscribe to the Kansanmusiikki magazine if you are not interested in joining one of the folk music associations. A year's subscription costs 30 € in 2025.
