Children's music orchestra Orffit is gentle but wild. Orffit features three dad-men: Kimmo, Matti and Hannu. Orffit appears on television in Laulujen osto- ja myyntiliike. Orffit is at the Poloneesi. Orffit has guitars, saxophones, accordions and ever-so-slightly peculiar drums. Orffit succeeds better in playing than in photographs. Orffit has an important task, but they are not quite sure what it is? Orffit's task is unfinished. The Orffit men play at the Helsinki City Museum quietly-loudly-suitably, and this much is known about their songs: the songs are played one after another with little interludes of curiosity. First the first song is played and last the final one. The songs have names: Hyvikset ja Pahikset, Pääjalkaiset, Saippuakuplia, Sattumankauppa, Ihmekolmoset and Saman auringon alla. There are others too. All the songs are played at the museum wondrously skilfully, a fact that the earth-dwellers present lock away in their treasure chests.
Sibbonietta
Sibbonietta is the string orchestra of the Sipoo branch of the Porvoo region music institute, led by Maria Sauros. Sibbonietta plays all kinds of music in versatile ways. This time the programme is folk music from Sipoo, accompanied by accordions. The accordions are led by Emma Viljanen. Emma has also arranged nearly all of the pieces to be heard.

Orivesi All Stars
Orivesi All Stars is Finland's largest folk musician orchestra, active since 2011 under the direction of Antti Järvelä. The orchestra's only goal is meaningful music-making in good spirits – and that is allowed to show and be heard. Orivesi All Stars is a folk musician collective open to players of any level and age, with no geographical restriction on taking part.
Désirée Saarela & Triskel
The music of Désirée Saarela & Triskel combines today's singer-songwriter tradition with strong folk music interpretation. The band's singer-songwriter-spirited music is timeless, its mood full of heart and the enchantment of storytelling.
Anne-Mari Kivimäki & Palomylly -76
Anne-Mari Kivimäki is a freelance musician, composer and lyricist based in Tampere. Around the Russian Notka accordion she has built bands and multi-artistic sounding artworks and created her own playing style, contemporary Karelian accordion trance. Anne-Mari Kivimäki & Palomylly -76 plays music from the dance grounds of Karelia, so that the karmuuni sings, the pokoiniekkas rise and hips sway around Kontokki. The band interprets and evokes music from Kivimäki's new album, to be released in spring 2018.

Pinnin Pojat
Arto Järvelä (1964, Hattula) and Kimmo Pohjonen (1964, Viiala) have carried the brightest lantern of Häme traditional music for over two decades. The duo has conquered audiences with performances from Islamabad to Jumesniemi. These merry fellows' assured musicianship combined with seriously humorous singing creates a weave of sound that winds itself irresistibly around the listener's senses.
Pinnin Pojat is guaranteed to be the most soulful duo of Häme traditional music!
Kalevauva.fi
”Kalevauva.fi is a present-day troubadour band formed by Aapo Niininen and Kimmo Numminen, whose repertoire is collected straight from the mouth of the people – from the vauva.fi forum. The song lyrics are lifted from this popular internet discussion board and set to music by the band to match the mood.

Maija Kauhanen
Powerful vocals, heart-rending stories, a gritty kantele and percussion played at the same time! A pulse woven from polyrhythms and a strong beat, combined with hypnotic melodies, creates a unique groove and soundscape with the power of just one musician – without loopers. Maija Kauhanen is known as an open-minded musician and a radiant performer with the ability to touch her listener regardless of genre.
Halsbrytarna
95 per cent of Halsbrytarna's repertoire is music you can dance to. They play schottische, mazurka, polka, waltz, hambo, snoa, polska and all other forms of folk music too. The repertoire is predominantly Nordic. Above all they naturally play Finland-Swedish tunes, but also tunes from several other European countries.
Folk dance group Kuohu
Kuohu is the youth folk dance group of Klaukkala Youth Association, with 17 girls dancing. The dancers are united by a love of dance, the joy of dancing together and the desire to develop as dancers and as a group. The group performs actively and takes part in various folk dance and folk music festivals every year. Next summer the group heads for Portugal and the Europeade.
Heikki Lahti & Komia
Master folk musician Heikki Lahti is the model and educator of Finnish folk mandolin playing. Heikki Lahti & Komia plays folk musician music from one mood to the next. The tunes of Otto Hotakainen and Wiljami Niittykoski have become especially dear to the band, not forgetting Konsta Jylhä. Traditional folk tunes are also a core part of the band's repertoire.
